The candidate will work in a team of professionals at Evalueserve’s Quantitative Research Division, particularly in Index Quantitative Research. The candidate will be responsible for leading the offshore research team of a top US Index provider. The team will be based out of our Knowledge Research Center in Chile.
About You – Qualifications and Requirements:
Engineering/Finance major required. Postgraduate studies in the field of Investments or Finance, CQF, CFA or progress towards CFA. Excellent Knowledge of Fixed Income Indices is a prerequisite for this position.
Experience in and understanding of one or more of the following: Fixed Income Index or ETF construction, bond trading, bond portfolio construction and credit derivatives. SQL, Advanced Excel, Visual Basic are also required.
Scope of Work
The objective of the team will be to initially assist our client’s US based Fixed Income index operations in the partial and/or complete execution of:
•Independent index data verification tasks
•Index production and maintenance functions
•End of Day Index Processes Coverage
The tasks to be performed will include (but are not limited to):
•Capturing index members security data
•Check static security analytics.
•Generate dynamic security analytics.
•All analytics to be calculated to maturity, worst, best, redemption and current.
•Perform bond return calculations
•Verify changes in membership lists
•Capture & Check prices and market data
•Generate Index Levels
•Publish index levels in 3rd party data platforms, internally and website.
